I wanted to thank you for listing Lawry Payne this week. Lawry and I were roommates at UMass and long-time friends. We hung together in New York for some time after college. I remember I was working in the World Financial Center at Merrell Lynch when I heard of Ron Brown’s plane crash, so I called his office in Washington and heard the terrible news. He is no longer alive but remains in my thoughts and heart.
